Here are some of the systems we install either as new roofing installation or when performing re-roofing projects:
Modified Bitumen is a type of asphalt that has been modified with chemicals to give it properties similar to rubber or plastic. While MB originated in Europe in the 1960’s it’s been used in the US since the 70’s and has shown long-term durability for commercial and industrial applications.
One of the more intriguing aspects of Modified Bitumen is that it adapts to the texture of the material underneath and can also be covered with other surfacing materials such as metals and even river rock or gravel.
Built-up roofing systems are commonly used over low-sloping roofs to add strength. With each layer, performance and protection are improved and the roof will better stand up to weather and environmental conditions.
When you hear a roofer discuss “single ply, double ply or triple ply” in relation to roofing, this is what they are referring to… the layers in the roofing and the corresponding strength. Of special note is that these layers also provide additional insulation and will thus, often correlate to improved heating and cooling efficiency.
Thermoplastic TPO (thermo-plastic polyolefin) and PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) are types of membrane roofing commonly used on flat roofs. They are extremely strong and dense, as well as essentially weather and leak proof, helping move water off and away from the roof.
An acronym for Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer, this synthetic rubber, used first by the automotive industry for its tendency not to rot, has been constantly tested and improved for the last 40 years.
An extremely popular system with a range of applications and designs that is reliable and guaranteed to last. Are among the best choices when considering longevity and value in a commercial roofing system.
Asphalt, Slate, Wood, Metal, Plastic, Fibre Cement
Monolithic membrane which is sprayed directly on top of your existing roof, around pipes, hatches, and other equipment found on the roof top to fully seal and waterproof your roof. A more cost effective approach than installation of a new roof and should last about 10 years.
Installation of roof hatches and skylights are vital to any complete roofing system and must be a durable solution to provide years of maintenance-free, safe and weather tight roof access.
